Adding Congressional Legislation to Facebook
In alignment with Facebook's mission to build global community by increasing civic engagement, we added pieces of legislation into town hall as distinct, shareable entities so that people can not only find out who their representatives are, but also what they are doing and how they're voting. This started out as a small hackathon project that gained traction. We ended up winning the hackathon, presenting our project to Mark Zuckerberg (and the rest of the leadership team), and pursuing it further.
